I donโt have a one-stop. Gist is that BuJo manages all tasks/projects/habits/ideas. OmniFocus manages my content creation checklists and due dates. Obsidian/Multimarkdown Composer handles the content and idea creation itself. https://twitter.com/craigmcclellan/status/1361776243398619137
@BobbleheadJoe @JoeBuhlig @curtismchale I think we have a topic for our throw down streamโฆ Fiction vs. Non Fiction.
@JoeBuhlig Never going to talk about your favourite fiction books? Even in a wrap up for the year episode

Youโd be amazed at the number of Bookworm review requests we get for Sci-Fi thrillers. At least look at the episode list first. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ

โ Why does Apple TV exist? Is ice safe? Traveler's Notebook?
And likely more. It's article review time.
Today on the stream. Itโs time for an AMA on my Obsidian and OmniFocus systems.

So true. We bury water lines and such almost five feet underground. TX does well to be one foot. Likely to cause a lot of burst pipes. Not to mention the snow that they donโt have equipment to move. https://twitter.com/HCMarks/status/1361119657499975681

@JoeBuhlig @kcase @OmniFocus I had been meaning to put together a project automation to make it easy to establish the same 5 milestones per customer project, and this episode gave me the impetus to do just that. Thanks!

@JoeBuhlig For me I find they work totally different once I get the โdependenceโ bc I donโt get as anxious/wired/hyper but they still work in terms of motivation/mental energy to do things. But it totally varies! My plan is to do a higher dose on weekdays when I start med school.
@ohthethoughts That makes sense to me. I have tendency to push too hard when Iโm in them. So taking a break from meds generally means a break physically. That said, have been debating a one day break instead of two.
@JoeBuhlig My weekend listen. I am pumped for this!

Iโm sticking with tea today. A bit nervous about changing it up. But skipping meds is already a bit dicey. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
@JoeBuhlig Do you not take meds on the weekend? If you donโt then coffee is probably fine but Iโd worry about withdrawing from meds
@ohthethoughts I don't. I haven't had much for withdrawal issues in the past and try to take regular "holidays" from them. Theory is that it keeps it as a tool and not a dependency. That's the theory at least. ๐
If I skip coffee during the week (due to ADHD meds), does that mean I should skip it on the weekends as well?

@JoeBuhlig Next time. Mountains were calling
Early last week I received a text message from my friend, David Sparks, that said he was recording an episode of Automators on OmniFocus the next day and wanted to know if I could make it last minute. Who says "no" to that? Not me.
The real reason so many people are avoiding Google these days is because they killed Google Reader. We haven't forgotten.
