@JoeBuhlig have you ever checked out Amplenote? I’d love you thoughts on it. It does bidirectional linking, imports and exports Markdown. Also has tasks and a calendar. I’ve just started playing with the free plan
@CarolLoughrey1 I haven’t. But a quick glance at their site makes me wonder if it grants access to the raw files behind it. That’s a deal breaker to me anymore.
When you’re waiting on someone and they’re 15 mins out. It’s basically lost time for me that’s spent wandering around trying to look like I’m not impatient.

Anatomy of doing a task:
➊ Start the task
➋ Continue working on the task
➌ Complete the task
ADHD can make it difficult at all 3 stages.

@JoeBuhlig I believe it does but just from my own experience. I can tell when a storm is coming because the drop in pressure will trigger a sinus headache. And I have no energy on dark dreary days. This doesn’t really answer your question as far as research goes.
@JoeBuhlig Seasonal Affective Disorder due to shorter days is a thing
@ScottDellar That’s part of what started me thinking about it. If less daylight can affect mood in that way, wouldn’t other weather patterns be similar?
@ErikJFisher That’s true. And barometric pressure impacts a number of weather activities. Thanks for the data point. 👍🏻
Has any research been done on physiological responses to weather?
Eg. Sleepiness due to rain or lack of motivation due to storms?
Working on a theory that's likely flawed.

My toxic trait is wanting to try a new calendar/tasks app every time I see one
I've been on this newsletter for a few weeks now. (A friend got me beta access. 😉) Even power users will benefit. I know I have. 👍🏻

@JoeBuhlig If you’ve gone to that much work, you should roll back that high mileage! 😇
@JoeBuhlig It must be expensive to train the seals 😉

Wireless systems are nice (audio/video/network), but I'll take a hard line every chance I can get. It's one less breakpoint I have to worry about when I'm concerned about longevity and stability.
Turns out, seal coating a 6,000 square foot driveway is expensive. Who knew? 🤷🏻♂️
