If you set a resolution, be sure to plan daily time for the routine that accomplishes the goal. Focus on the actions. Not the result.
If you’ve ever wondered how many apps are in @SetApp (and what apps are worth it), this stream recording is for you.
There’s so much in this single subscription that it should cost five times as much! Go here to sign up: https://joebuhlig.com/go/setapp
This is the Bible Reading plan I’ve used the last few years to read it in a year. Highly recommended.

My latest newsletter was sent this morning:
My @twsbi Diamond 580 started skipping this morning and I panicked. Never cleaning it was bound to cause problems.
But that wasn’t it. Just needed refilled. Good for another round. 👍🏻
Still haven’t cleaned it. 🤷🏻♂️
Just posted the 2021 Bullet Journal portion of yesterday’s stream.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
It's time to set up a brand new notebook for my Bullet Journal. This is a stream recording from 20201228.
@JoeBuhlig Welcome to the club 🤓
One of my favorite Christmas gifts this year. A set of @felixgrays. My wife (and gifter) says it completes my nerd look. 🤓 https://www.instagram.com/p/CJW--BEHGZX/?igshid=elryxz6zxpui
I'm looking through and exploring every app in @SetApp right now.
📓 It’s time to start a brand new Bullet Journal notebook for 2021!
And once this is done, we’ll look at every app inside @Setapp. (~45 mins into the stream).

@JoeBuhlig @Setapp Looks like a good one! Sad I’ll miss this. Hopefully I can catch the replay!

Hey, thanks @JoeBuhlig for the fountain pen reco... @JohnWesleyBush1 really likes it!
How we socialize has changed significantly. Today's author has studied American social behavior over the decades, and shows how our shrinking social captial poses a serious threat to our civic...
@JoeBuhlig @_isaacmsmith Fair enough. Each serve their purpose. I'm in the stage of life where I want the encyclopedia personally, but I can understand wanting the opposite.
ESV Heirloom Study Bible is my most used right now.
@JoeBuhlig @_isaacmsmith How come?
I find I prefer my eyes darting downwards, line-to-line, rather than having to scan left-to-right and hoping I grab the right line as I move down.
@joshuaginter @_isaacmsmith It’s the difference between reading a reference book and a nonfiction book. I want to read the Bible as a story and not an encyclopedia.
@JoeBuhlig @_isaacmsmith This one gets close too, but not leather: https://www.biblio.com/book/esv-readers-bible-esv-bibles-crossway/d/1348101768?aid=frg¤cy_id=1
@joshuaginter @_isaacmsmith This is the one my wife likes most. She’s actually debating rebinding it to get it right.
@JoeBuhlig @_isaacmsmith So close! This is going to be super hard, as readers versions have that “format” that either gets super thick or comes in multiple volumes.
Closest recommendation I have is the Heirloom Single Column Personal Size. But that one has verse numbers, headings, and occasional refs.
@joshuaginter @_isaacmsmith That’s a good one!
I’ve learned a ton about the history behind the dual-column layout in this process. Still don’t care for it though.
@JoeBuhlig @joshuaginter That article is gold
@_isaacmsmith @JoeBuhlig Hmm. I do believe this ESV Reader’s Bible Set fits those parameters: https://www.crossway.org/bibles/esv-readers-bible-six-volume-set-cow-3/
@joshuaginter @_isaacmsmith A solid find. Any chance there’s a single volume version? The intention is for this to become a daily carry.
@_isaacmsmith @joshuaginter Good call! Ran across your Newsprint article in my search, Josh. 😉
@_isaacmsmith @JoeBuhlig There’s also a goatskin variety if that’s more your thing... (totally my thing).
