It just occurred to me that I have an I9 (12900K)/ RTX 3080 machine on order right now to use as a stream encoder. Now I’m wondering if Mac Studio would be a better choice.
Finally! Something in a small form factor that can handle a lot of graphics outputs. That’s what I need. Please tell me Mac Studio is affordable.

M1 Mac mini update:
I am not impressed at all. If everything stays on the machine, it does fine. When I start trying to pass video into and out of the thing (both hard lined and networked), it’s ridiculously finicky and breaks a lot. 🤷♂️
