Most podcasters use the wrong marketing tactics for the size of their audience.
And then they wonder why they're not growing.
Here's how to use the right tactics for the growth phase you're in👇

Please get me off this wild ride. I have started an ADHD investigation and they said "it sounds like you might have ADHD" and the more I read and hear...
Our property has forest, wetlands, marsh, and a beautiful creek. Our project for the summer is to clear a trail so we can easily experience them all. https://instagr.am/p/CeMGja2rh6Q/

Today is another reminder that time continues to move forward, whether I notice it or not—in other words, it’s my birthday! 🎉
Thanks for following and making this past year one of the more memorable of my life.
Can’t wait to see what adventures this next year will bring…
Hung out with someone yesterday who just so happened to bring up Shortcuts on their own… you should have seen my face
@JoeBuhlig Cool! p.s. There’s an app called @PictureThisAI that does a marvellous job of identifying plants, animals, birds, etc. that you find in the woods (and elsewhere). Thanks to @MacSparky for the recommendation on @macpowerusers.
"Why do people still think Linux is bad for regular people? It's user-friendly, anyone can use it!"

Lots of use case explanations this week, the parrot management system is particularly fun.
The main highlight of the week was the @the_LYT_way conference, but it was still ongoing when I wrote this.
Step 1: put email I need to reply to in a special folder
Step 2: wait 2-20 months
Step 3: archive email, too embarrassed to say anything at this point
TL;DR - I use Obsidian for:
• Cross-referencing sermon sketchnotes
• Connecting book notes & mind maps
• All of my writing
• My digital journal
• A podcast archive
• Course notes
• Personal retreats
• Task management
And tying it all together is the Graph.

Hey @JoeBuhlig and @_MikeSchmitz;
PKM's just legitimizes the crazy walls. Prove me wrong.
I’m having a day where nothing is wrong, nothing’s on fire, no one seems mad at me, and nothing is terrifyingly behind schedule and I’m really confused 😂🤣
But BRAINS. THIS LAND EXISTS. I’VE SEEN IT.

A common misconception about creative people is they are full of confidence from the start.
I have not found this to be true.
I often start writing unsure of if it will be good.
But I am confident I will end up with a good piece of writing.
That's the value of experience.

Mental models are a fascinating concept to me.
If you're unfamiliar, mental models are lenses we use to look at the world and make better decisions (i.e. Occam's Razor - "the simplest solution is the best solution).
Here are 3 of my favorite mental models 👇🏼
@JoeBuhlig Ok you just sold me on this.
@JoeBuhlig Look out for those turkeys though. They’re feisty.
