I shared a picture of my Macβs desktop with @JoeBuhlig this week. He wasβ¦horrified? https://twitter.com/whimsthatwork/status/942753566128787457

One of the largest sources of confusion & frustration:
1) a decision needs to be made
2) it's unclear who has the authority to make the decision
3) it's unclear who will be held accountable for the decision
Chaos ensues.
Looking forward to playing in Claddagh in Maple Grove tonight. 6pm - 9pm @Maple_Grove
Question: In your opinion, whatβs the optimal release schedule for a podcast?
This year has been crazy (in a cool way) for us at Setapp. Check out these 9 lessons we've learned in 2017 π« https://setapp.com/how-to/how-to-achieve-1m-arr-in-6-months-9-lessons-we-learned?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_term=post&utm_content=&utm_campaign=lessonslearned

Future podcast dream show: @travismcelroy and I travel all over Scotland tasting obscure scotches, covering just one per episode.
Weβll call itβ¦Hop Scotchβ’
@DrewCoffman @JoeBuhlig @jondavid82 Blasphemy
@JoeBuhlig @DrewCoffman I bought a pack of .5, .7, and 1.0 to see which I would like best. Instantly fell in love with the .5! I feel the .7 and 1.0 donβt have the same control and feel.
@JoeBuhlig @DrewCoffman 0.5mm G2 is the only one Pilot should make! Best writing pen ever!!!
βYou know youβre a grown-up when you get seriously excited over new sheets!β - Kristine
@BobbleheadJoe @JoeBuhlig @WhimsThatWork I sincerely hope the book impacts you the way itβs impacted me. Best of luck!
@DrewCoffman @JoeBuhlig This is your fault - I couldnβt resist after hearing you talk about morning pages on @WhimsThatWork
@JoeBuhlig @WhimsThatWork Already listened. :)
It was a great episode. I loved the bit at the end where you discussed Siriβs app suggestions to learn more about how youβre using your phone.
Just started listening to Whims That Work with @DrewCoffman and @JoeBuhlig. Iβm really digging the show! http://whimsthatwork.fm/

Best message ever received from a newsletter subscriber:
"I look forward to everything you publish. Weβve shut down our use of Slack as an agency as a result."
One step at a time, people. We can do this.
Question: Has anyone crafted a Twitter timeline for themselves thatβs free of political horrors / knee-jerk reactions / hot takes?
Or is that just the Twitter experience these days?
Fun fact: I have 97 alarm pre-sets on my iPhone because every morning, I review my calendar to see when I have meetings or calls. Then, I set an alarm to go off 5 minutes before the event, so I can otherwise ignore my phone and get into a flow state.
You can only iterate on something after itβs been released. Prior to release, youβre just making the thing. Even if you change it, youβre just making it. Iterating is when you change/improve after itβs out. So if you want to iterate, SHIP.
@DrewCoffman Found you via @chrisbowler and am enjoying the podcast, especially some of the digital vs analog discussion.
My morning pages routine was just stopped in its tracks because my pen ran out of ink. I donβt know if Iβve ever used up the entirety of a pen in my LIFE.
This is new.
@JoeBuhlig Hey Joe β adapted your great OmniFocus reading workflow to give you a chapter a day to read. Looking forward to using this for devotionals and different types of books. I often like to break up my reading this way https://workflow.is/workflows/ac0feebb3d9d447e87573232dfc4cf28
@robbyburns That example was for Editorial, but one could do something similar in Workflow. In fact, @JoeBuhlig already has: https://joebuhlig.com/targeted-omnifocus-templates-with-workflow/
