I’m sitting on the train and suddenly the PA system says “Seat reservation transfer complete. Device can be ejected.” I hope this is one of the trains that upgraded from floppy disks!

@JoeBuhlig I stole @RosemaryOrchard’s Drafts actions, one of which prompts you to fill in the placeholders, before sending off to @omnifocus https://rosemaryorchard.com/blog/using-drafts-5-taskpaper-with-omnifocus/
@JoeBuhlig That’s not currently possible. But feel free to open a discussion on the forum if there isn’t one already.
@JoeBuhlig Let me know if you have any questions, it's one of my favorite things to talk about :).

@JoeBuhlig @tinajan Nice! I can‘t see a Pelikan though ;)
Thanks to @JamieMauracher at @globalnewsto for giving me the opportunity to chime in on a few very relevant topics: focus, workspace distraction, and the four-day work week. 🎥 Watch: http://bit.ly/31LYqqT
👀 Can’t wait to ship this tomorrow on @thesweetsetup
Yes, no, maybe? Too many menus or nice to have? Or no one will ever find them. Can’t decide.
@mattcassinelli Action brings clarity.
@JoeBuhlig The Post Kinds plugin (in the wiki linked by @ChrisAldrich) is what I use. It works very well!
Just listened... Added to my tbr list. https://twitter.com/JoeBuhlig/status/1225797981263351809
@JoeBuhlig All the plugins are ready to go and easy to install; by adding the #IndieWeb plugin in the WordPress directory, we use taxonomies and post-kinds rather than post types as those change per theme (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/RSXxk)

@JoeBuhlig PiHole allows you to manually unblock any domain/page from its admin web UI. These rules take precedence over your configured blocklists. Whenever I stumble upon a broken page, I'll just check the logs, see what was blocked, and unblock it either permanently or temporarily. 😀

@davidgalloway @thesweetsetup @OmniFocus I have yet to get the pure Zettelkasten to work for me, but love the idea.
@JoeBuhlig Yeah, you’re not missing much. I’m only there for a few cartoons and Wil Wheaton, but he reposts a lot of old stuff. I just can’t tell how old. 🤷🏻♂️
@JoeBuhlig Yup dealing with that now. Help docs should have version number tags with them. Spent 20 minutes hunting for a setting that got moved with no doc update
@JoeBuhlig I first captured at a high level the types of material via @mindnode I am then taking this to put the detail into @OmniOutliner since there are so many sources. It’s a start and getting me aware of why I feel the way I do. No intentionality more squirrel-like.
@JoeBuhlig Will do. My thought is to follow a @gtdtimes approach and use @OmniFocus. I first need to capture all of the various ‘inputs’ of learning, and when clarifying be intentional. Will definitely use OF to get a schedule built to follow similar to reading books.
@StanSienkiewicz @MacSparky @LearnOmniFocus @BobbleheadJoe @JoeBuhlig @shawnblanc @MichaelHyatt So, I shouldn’t be working on a @draftsapp automation guide? 😇
So this is what happens when you follow great people. How to read all their material. And learn. My 2020 1Q goal to get through this material in an orderly fashion. HELP! @MacSparky @RosemaryOrchard @LearnOmniFocus @BobbleheadJoe @JoeBuhlig @shawnblanc @MichaelHyatt
A brief review of Digital Minimalism and my action steps based on the model and considerations introduced in the book.
Have you read it and put it into practice? Would love to hear what you’re finding most helpful and sticky for you.

Hello Jekyll! It's nice to meet you! 😍 https://twitter.com/JoeBuhlig/status/1220514395257802752
Friday. Dissect the wk for focus, priorities. What worked, did not work?
Rx,
1. Open loops drain energy. Finish tasks.
2. Written list of priorities or drama derails us.
3. Be unavailable.
4. Tenaciously guard 60-90 min. for our passions.

@adsmith482 I have no problem w/ you opening a bank account for your awesome new idea & never actually doing anything with it. I have a huge problem with you registering a DE C corp & not doing anything with it then bringing me a stack of overdue notices & wanting me to fix it all for you.
