Very likely to share my thoughts on the Apple keynote at the beginning today as well. 👍

@JoeBuhlig The mutes-everything problem did bite me. I didn't realize you also meant OUTPUT devices, so it was also muting the virtual device that sent to my monitors. I did test with some other (newer) apps though, and most CAN selectively mute single devices.
@ttscoff That’s good to know! I haven’t taken time to test them yet. Will take a look at Mikrofon.
@JoeBuhlig @ericadhawan @bookwormfm Ok. It’s in my Amazon cart. Time to pull the trigger.
Sitting down to start this book by @ericadhawan for @bookwormfm and realizing it has some pretty big names giving accolades. Excited about this one!

Hey @BobbleheadJoe and @JoeBuhlig, this is a word you should use on the podcast. https://twitter.com/susie_dent/status/1400368031734304768
Ever put your watch on the other wrist?

@JoeBuhlig Sorry I missed it! Good session. I guess the Soviets followed the color advice.
Planning to do my June BuJo migration as an extra afterwards today for #TeamAnalog as well. 👍🏻 https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1399896420262494217
Who wants to see a video on this? Might be cool to give an updated studio tour before I move to Utah.
@JoeBuhlig Makes sense, as it doesn't discriminate between usb devices either. Wonder if a different app would be more specific for you.
@ttscoff 🤷🏻♂️ Possibly. Haven’t done the research yet. But I’ve also recently set up a Rodecaster Pro. So I have the mute button there currently.
@JoeBuhlig Ooooooh!! Hell yes.
Really excited to do this session with #TeamAnalog! https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1399896420262494217

OBS nerds! This is a big update! https://twitter.com/OBSProject/status/1399843130485129221
After spending hundreds of dollars finding a decent XLR mute switch (so many problems), it turns out I can just create a Loopback device and use Shush just like the good ol' USB mic days.
@ttscoff Tried this. The only downside I’ve found is that it mutes ALL virtual devices instead of just the one I want. Unless I’m missing a setting somewhere.
Please trust me when I say I really am hammering in a new subfloor and not about to attempt a test of the new toilet drain.
Also, consider this your reminder that you can follow along with all of the home restoration work I do at https://www.whoatowow.com.
I love running “bundle update” by accident and then choosing to go with it. Excellent way to add two hours to a simple push. 🤷🏻♂️
It’s elusive. Trust me.

I change it. And then I change it again. And then I tweak it once more. And just when it’s almost there I choose an entirely new system altogether. Welcome...

I change it. And then I change it again. And then I tweak it once more. And just when it's almost there I choose an entirely new system altogether. Welcome to the world of task managers.
