Explaining to my job that…I rarely am on chat, don’t check Slack that much when I’m focused on work…and my phone is usually muted and I don’t put it in my pocket.

@bookwormfm @BobbleheadJoe @JoeBuhlig
Look at the subtitle. Most interested in chapters 1, 2, 4 and, above all, 7. First published 1998.

Fun sidenote: I’ll be streaming from my work office. So things will look a bit different today. Here’s hoping it’s for the better. 🤞
🔴 Stream is up! I’ll catch you up on the ridiculous housing market in our area, too.

Ok. Today is picture day on the house. So I can’t make the stream today. But I do need to set up my April Bullet Journal.
Plan is to do that Wednesday.

@JoeBuhlig @DrewCoffman Oh my! I literally have the same habit. I get a stroke if I can't see a grammatically correct text message.

@JoeBuhlig it is becoming a thing! obviously it totally depends on who you’re talking to, but people under 30 are beginning to see grammatically correct language as ‘formal’ - which feels ‘weird’ when just texting
I don’t know who needs to hear this but stop ending your texts with periods
@DrewCoffman Is this a thing? I’ve long ascribed to the mentality of writing texts as grammatically correct. Thus, I always use periods. Why shouldn’t I?

👋 I'm Joe Buhlig. I strive to build productivity systems that stand the test of time and help me do more than check boxes. I'm here to help you do the same.
🎙 I read a lot of books and talk about it.
🐿 I can't focus on one thing for long, so I write a lot of code for an eclectic grouping of projects.
📓 And I'm a bit obsessed with finding non-proprietary solutions to digital problems. Thus, text files for the win! 🎉
