Itโs fun to see the @heyhey email addresses showing up in the newsletter subscriber lists. Itโs not for me but I get why people love it. ๐๐ป
@shouit @JoeBuhlig Can't wait to watch y'all get all Productive and stuff...
Itโs going to be interesting. Discussing Bullet Journal and productivity with my friend, Joe. https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1290285598541074438
Really looking forward to this today! https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1290285598541074438
Today at 1PM Central weโll be recording live on Twitch!

Floor is torn out. Banisters primed. Couple more days and the new will be installed. ๐๐ป https://www.instagram.com/p/CDSJQTYH-xj/?igshid=1sc2t4ibqdwxk
Iโm setting up a Zoom chat for fellow introverts where we schedule a time comfortably in the future and then youโre expected to flake on it. Anyone who actually shows up is quietly removed from the email list.
RSVP now for the session at 1 PM Central! We're talking about ADHD and how analog tools can help.

Venturing into territory that has high risk, editing an old HTML email template.
@curtismchale ๐ฌ I wish you all the best. Those are dicey. Tables for the win!
@JoeBuhlig @kjaymiller Online bacon somehow sounds worse than tofu bacon.
@JoeBuhlig @shouit Interesting... Will there be a bacon spread?
@JoeBuhlig Sum it up in 3 words. Communicate, Delete, Inform
@JoeBuhlig Yeah, I'm in that annoying middle ground where I'm too picky about the design/UI to stick with a template's defaults, but I can't (and don't really want to) fully build the site out myself.
About the best I can do is fiddle with the CSS code a little, trial-and-error style.
@hljboss Theyโre for other folks. Not mine. There is only one scenario I can see using a PC and thatโs for streaming. But I donโt game so itโs not necessary. ๐
@JoeBuhlig Iโd say tell her AND delete so she can feel secure thereโs nothing remaining of the accident. Not telling her might backfire.
@JoeBuhlig B. Ignorance is bliss. If she doesnโt know that it was seen, there is literally no damage whatsoever.
@JoeBuhlig Then you might as well just delete it and say no more.
@JoeBuhlig Better awkward then embarrassed in front of many.
@sbecker152 For sure. Deleting at a minimum. Likely telling the camera operator. But outside of that...
@JoeBuhlig Delete it and let her know that you've done that.
@tonypiper Definitely deleting. Thought about mentioning it to the camera operator and no one else.
You're editing a video of a woman wearing a dress. An "accident" inadvertently happens and she's unaware of what the camera sees. Do you:
A) let her know?
B) delete it and move on?
For some reason I feel I should say something but it's going to be ridiculously awkward.
Why is it so hard to buy a nice USB-C cable?
Every time I get a new PC to set up I strip all the bloatware that comes with it. Cuts used hard drive space to a third most of the time. ๐ https://twitter.com/drewcoffman/status/1287803175940939776
@JoeBuhlig Whoops got in the zone and totally missed this. ๐ข
@kjaymiller We missed you. But I made some big changes to how Iโm handling recurring tasks. Frankenlog!
I'll send you the link to a six-minute overview video of my August 2020 spreads when you sign up for my newsletter, The Weekly Impulse.

๐ I'm Joe Buhlig. I strive to build productivity systems that stand the test of time and help me do more than check boxes. I'm here to help you do the same.
๐ I read a lot of books and talk about it.
๐ฟ I can't focus on one thing for long, so I write a lot of code for an eclectic grouping of projects.
๐ And I'm a bit obsessed with finding non-proprietary solutions to digital problems. Thus, text files for the win! ๐
