👋 I'm Joe Buhlig. I strive to build productivity systems that stand the test of time and help me do more than check boxes. I'm here to help you do the same.
🎙 I read a lot of books and talk about it.
🐿 I can't focus on one thing for long, so I write a lot of code for an eclectic grouping of projects.
📓 And I'm a bit obsessed with finding non-proprietary solutions to digital problems. Thus, text files for the win! 🎉

🔴 LIVE! Decided to jump into talking text expansion right away.
Going live now! If you’re watching #WWDC21, keep it open. Going to give live takes and then get into text expansion.
Always love the privacy focus Apple brings to things. Makes me wish Mail worked with markdown. #WWDC21
This may sound like a stretch, but Quick Note might be the one feature to get me to buy an iPad. If getting a note out of Notes and into a text file of sorts can be automated, it would be a better research tool than my Mac. #WWDC21
Pretty impressive set of features for 0.1% of the US. I won’t hold my breath for the midwest. 😂 #WWDC21
I forgot about that acquisition! So true. https://twitter.com/HCMarks/status/1401954777089679366
I can already feel my phone getting hot with these interactive stories processing in the background. Time for an upgrade? #WWDC21
Do people regularly try to watch or listen to things remotely and synchronously? #WWDC21
I suspect I’m in the same boat. But I’m not currently a KM user. So that might change today. https://twitter.com/jimmylittle/status/1401935878323204096
I’ve been reconsidering my use of TextExpander lately. Anyone have opinions on leaving it? Join me on stream today!
Sitting down to start this book by @ericadhawan for @bookwormfm and realizing it has some pretty big names giving accolades. Excited about this one!
Note the time difference. We’re an hour later than normal today. https://twitter.com/JoeBuhlig/status/1400842844206780418
Planning to do my June BuJo migration as an extra afterwards today for #TeamAnalog as well. 👍🏻 https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1399896420262494217
Really excited to do this session with #TeamAnalog! https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1399896420262494217
OBS nerds! This is a big update! https://twitter.com/OBSProject/status/1399843130485129221
It’s elusive. Trust me.

I love running “bundle update” by accident and then choosing to go with it. Excellent way to add two hours to a simple push. 🤷🏻♂️
I change it. And then I change it again. And then I tweak it once more. And just when it's almost there I choose an entirely new system altogether. Welcome to the world of task managers.
Not today. Likely be on the phone all afternoon. https://twitter.com/CarolLoughrey1/status/1398259360506200073
