102: Pick Three by Randi Zuckerberg – Bookworm
In an increasingly demanding world, we’ve been told that we can do everything—maintain friendships, devote ourselves to work, spend time with family, stay fit, and get enough sleep. Today's author...
👋 I'm Joe Buhlig. I strive to build productivity systems that stand the test of time and help me do more than check boxes. I'm here to help you do the same.
🎙 I read a lot of books and talk about it.
🐿 I can't focus on one thing for long, so I write a lot of code for an eclectic grouping of projects.
📓 And I'm a bit obsessed with finding non-proprietary solutions to digital problems. Thus, text files for the win! 🎉
I'll send you the link to a six-minute overview video of my August 2020 spreads when you sign up for my newsletter, The Weekly Impulse.

@HCMarks Harry! Saw your article on the Work/Life Task System and loved it. Was curious if you be interested in showing it to us on @analogrevenge. Feel free to DM me if you’re game. 👍🏻
#TeamAnalog, check your inboxes. Just officially made the move to a centralized login and subscription system. All you need to do is reset a password and you're all set. Here's to more features! 🥂
So, uh, I’m not upgrading to iOS 14 today. Why would I? Seriously, what are the reasons?
I wonder if Apple’s quick release of the new iOS is designed to slow down adoption. Knowing that developers will be hard pressed to be ready, I’m sure some will delay updating for a bit. But not sure how big that group is.
This Friday. 1 PM Central. Free webinar! FREE!
Should you leave OmniFocus for an analog system? The answer isn't always yes.
If you're interested in pen and paper systems over digital, but nervous about the move, this is for you.
Was wondering if they would offer a service for all the services. That’s a solid move. #AppleEvent
This almost has me wanting to build a fitness routine and buy an Apple Watch. Almost... 😂 #AppleEvent
Oh good! Now my kids can have an Apple Watch without a iPhone! Just what I’ve always wanted. 🤦🏻♂️
Thanks for joining me on my Roam rant earlier today. Despite the arguments for it, I still think it’s unnecessary software for the majority. It has its place. But that’s a small place.
Who's up for some #BuJoSpreadReview today?!
Also, I'm working on a big change to how all-the-things are connected. We'll talk about it today and roll out soon.

Anyone know if there’s a Discourse forum somewhere that focuses on Bullet Journaling? Or at least pen and paper?
Momento Mori
I visit this phrase every morning but it’s especially memorable when preparing to run A/V for a funeral.
If you need copyright-free background music of any kind, check out the awesome StreamBeats library by @HarrisHeller. Solid service. 👍🏻
Recording is up for #TeamAnalog! Got this one out fast. https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1304076714604199937

I previously kept this list elsewhere. But it makes more sense here. This is what makes up my entire fountain pen collection. https://discourse.joebuhlig.com/t/my-fountain-pen-collection/467
If you’re using your iPhone as a webcam via NDI, I highly recommend getting a hardline through RJ45. It cut my network load in half when I switched today.
Who's up for learning the Alastair Method today? 1 PM Central!
Ah! Now where did my quill go again? It appears this page is missing, too. Maybe try looking through the homepage again?
I'm finally starting to put together a centralized hub and branding for everything I do online. 🎊
No stream today. Taking a much needed break and hunting shrooms with the kids. 🍄

Life is negotiation. And today's author (& former FBI hostage negotiator) teaches us how to use tactical empathy so it can help us get more of what we want out...
Found a BuJo spread on Insta that turns out to be a graphic design project. 😂

This has an interesting take on the Bullet Journal monthly task list.
