๐ I'm Joe Buhlig. I strive to build productivity systems that stand the test of time and help me do more than check boxes. I'm here to help you do the same.
๐ I read a lot of books and talk about it.
๐ฟ I can't focus on one thing for long, so I write a lot of code for an eclectic grouping of projects.
๐ And I'm a bit obsessed with finding non-proprietary solutions to digital problems. Thus, text files for the win! ๐
I'll send you the link to a six-minute overview video of my August 2020 spreads when you sign up for my newsletter, The Weekly Impulse.

Schedule is all different today. I had an unexpected commitment show up this morning.
Bookworm Recording at 11:15(ish) AM
Twitch Stream is then pushed back to 1:30 PM
All in US Central times.
One of my favorite mindfulness practices: cabling a sound system back together. ๐ค
Had the pleasure of explaining to my kids what a glitchy software โbugโ is and how it started in the 1940s with Grace Hopper finding an actual bug inside a giant computer that changed the result. Easily the best word origin story out there. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/grace-hoppers-bug
Just a quick note: weโll be recording episode 100 on Monday at 10am Central instead of tomorrow. ๐๐ป ๐

Today! Super excited about this one. Breaking out a desk cam to show the real deal in action. ๐

Ok. I feel ignorant. Is it not possible to turn off pre-roll ads as a Twitch Affiliate? Everything I see says they can be turned off by running ads and that's it. I want them all off.
Nice! You can now get iOS apps with @Setapp!
We abandoned the point system concept on stream today for the #BuJoSpreadReview process. Too complex to manage. Looking at community voting via Twitch chat for next time.
Don't feel like you have to find the silver bullet. Take your time and build up routines and practices that work for you.
I love getting links to YouTube videos to play at an event. Especially when the links are printed off and handed to me. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Would love to know this as well. I have a Baroque period playlist in Apple Music, but thatโs about it. https://twitter.com/drewcoffman/status/1291742084383174663
Whoโs up for some #bujospreadreview today? Also throwing in some frankenlog updates and discussing my cover letter writing. ๐

It's time for another Patrick Lencioni leadership fable! Join Joe & Mike as they consider the responsibility of leadership, take a look at the five omissions of reward-centered leaders, and...
What if, instead of blocking email tracking pixels, an email client loaded them upon receipt immediately? Would that render the data unusable?
Iโve already heard from a couple folks that this was game-changing. Prepping certainly helped me. ๐ค ๐ https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1291377575818928128
If you're tired of the complexity (and business practices) of Google Analytics, I highly recommend @usefathom. Been using them for my sites since March and love the simplicity and lack of tracking they provide. ๐
Someone has shared a link with you that gives you $10 credit upon sign-up.
Can I send you the link to my August 2020 Bullet Journal overview video?
Itโs fun to see the @heyhey email addresses showing up in the newsletter subscriber lists. Itโs not for me but I get why people love it. ๐๐ป
Itโs going to be interesting. Discussing Bullet Journal and productivity with my friend, Joe. https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1290285598541074438
Really looking forward to this today! https://twitter.com/analogrevenge/status/1290285598541074438
